I’ve written three as-yet-unpublished manuscripts, all of which have been shortlisted for the international Bath Children’s Novel Award. Shortlisted novels are chosen from the longlist by children and teenagers known as “Junior Judges”! Echo of Light was one of 5 novels selected from a pool of 715 for the shortlist in 2016 (announcement here), and Reef and Stargap were both among the 5 novels selected from a pool of 965 for the shortlist in 2019 (announcement here).
Echo of Light also won the 2022 Sydney Taylor Manuscript Award, which was judged by librarians (announcement here).
